Lightweight puffer jacket carrying an all-over composition of dense golden botanicals in the tradition of Japanese Rinpa lacquerwork — maple leaves, cherry blossoms and ornamental medallions rendered in deep burnished gold with fine engraved detail on a midnight navy ground. Elements overlap and layer as if pressed from a lacquered panel, each form catching light differently across the quilted surface. Part of the BKS Folklore series, where artisanal tradition becomes wearable surface.
